The online play is pretty straight forward. He will just join your game and begin playing where you started your game. There's no lobby that he joins into, but it's just like a "press start to join" mode that you would see in a video arcade. There are the trivia, and challenge modes that you can do while you're at the "bases" in between levels, but otherwise the coop is just him running around as one of your 4 people. (The host still decides what heroes are playing).

How is online play in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 on the PS3?
I'm thinking of getting Marvel UA2 for my ps3 to play online with a friend. How's the online play work? Can you just do levels cooperatively, or is it entirely different to do stuff online?How is online play in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 on the PS3?
