ok i just bought my marvel: ultimate Alliance 2 game yesterday (August 6, 2011) %26amp; also downloaded the 2 free DLC for it cuz i am a big juggernaut %26amp; magneto fan but when it downloaded %26amp; installed %26amp; the game did its updates i didn't see any of the DLC characters so i deleted it %26amp; re-downloaded it 3-6 times but the same result over %26amp; over again. Can anybody please help me figure out whats going on?How do i get Marvel: ultimate alliance 2 DLC to work?
They took that DLC out on December 31, 2010 and after a lot of protest from fans they finally put up the compatibility patches so that you can play it online with someone else who has the actual DLC. The stuff that you downloaded was not the DLC (free DLC is usually a sign that it's not what you think it is), it was just the compatibility patches. If you should ever come across someone who has the real DLC, you can play with them online, but that's about it.
I've been trying to find a way to get that DLC for a long time now, so I feel your. Hopefully there will be a solution to this someday. Check out their site for the long conversation regarding this issue:
